Take Action! is a 10-week program designed to help you be active, eat right, and live healthier every day. You will participate in teams of up to 30 of your co-workers, working toward goals that you have set for yourself.

Subject: Take Action! Worksite Employee Wellness Program

Dear ________,
I would like to take this opportunity to tell you about an exciting opportunity to participate in an employee health promotion program. Take Action! has been implemented in other worksites around the country and achieved very good results. I think it has the potential to benefit our organization and employees, and I hope you will support our participation.
Research has shown that promoting health and fitness in the workplace can reduce absenteeism, lower health care costs, improve employee morale, reduce employee turnover, and enhance employee recruitment.
Take Action! is a free, 10-week program that encourages employees to set personal goals toward adopting healthy lifestyles. Working together in teams, employees strive to reach personal goals related to fruit and vegetable consumption and physical activity. Along with its focus on a healthier diet and physical activity, the team-building aspect of Take Action! promotes camaraderie across all job functions, which increases job satisfaction and employee morale. Take Action! combines individual and group strategies that help people change their behavior – so everyone can participate and feel successful. This research-based program is available to us at no charge from the Network for a Healthy California—Worksite Program.
I think your support of this program will make it a real success. I look forward to discussing the details of Take Action! with you soon. I will call you to schedule a time when we can meet.
Sincerely,

Mr. John Doe
Customer Service Representative
Widgets Galore, Inc.
987 Widget Street
Miami, Florida 33111
Dear Mr. Doe:
I am writing you concerning a recent purchase of widgets. Approximately two weeks ago, on October 1, I ordered a total of 50 widgets for Company, Inc. via the Widgets Galore client webpage. I received an email notification two days later confirming the receipt of payment and the shipment of the widgets. According to your website, shipments should reach their destination within 3-5 business days of being sent, but I have yet to receive the widgets. Do you have any information on what may have happened to delay the shipment or where the shipment is currently?
I have worked with Widgets Galore, Inc. in the past and have the greatest confidence in your products and customer service. We need the shipment of widgets soon, however, and I hoped you might be able to provide me with an idea of when I can expect them. Thank you in advance for any help you might be able to offer.
Sincerely,
Sam Brown
